Sinop University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sabri Bilgin, personnel from the 10th Regional Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, and teachers and students from TOKİ Şehit Fatih Erer Secondary School attended the event.
As part of the program, divers carried out coastal cleanup activities, while students actively participated in recycling, upcycling, and various artistic activities. In addition, students were informed about macroalgae, marine pollution, eutrophication, and the impacts of environmental problems on ecosystems, with the aim of raising awareness about sustainable living.
Through informative sessions on the importance of environmental protection and individual responsibilities, the event contributed to developing students’ environmental awareness.
