Meetings were held with Temel Deremenci, Head of Asian Side Coastal Cleaning at ISTAC, Ali Çarık, Deputy Mayor of Çiftlikköy Municipality, and Sedat Çil, Director of Climate Change and Zero Waste at Yalova Municipality. The interviews provided valuable insights into coastal cleaning practices, macroalgae collection and post-cleaning management processes, as well as projects focusing on the use of macroalgae as fertilizer.
