During this sampling event, macroalgae samples (Ulva spp. and Cystoseira spp.) were collected for studies on biomass, nutrient elements, and heavy metal analyses, as well as for research related to fertilizer and bioplastic production.
Simultaneously, seawater and sediment samples were collected to assess their correlation with the macroalgae. Additionally, environmental parameters such as temperature, salinity, pH, and dissolved oxygen were measured in situ using a multiparameter device during the fieldwork.
